Important Travel Information

Here you will find important information before your trip. This information applies to both business and private travel, but rules may vary depending on the type of trip, supplier, ticket type, and booking conditions.

Check Your Booking

Always check your booking confirmation as soon as you receive it. Names, dates, times, destinations, routing, hotels, rental cars, and other details must match what was booked.

Contact us immediately if anything appears incorrect. Names must be spelled exactly as they appear in the passport or other valid travel document.

Passports, Visas, and Entry Requirements

The traveler is responsible for having valid travel documents and checking current requirements for passports, visas, entry, transit, health, and other official requirements.

Rules may change on short notice and may vary depending on nationality, destination, transit country, and length of stay.

Supplier Terms

Airlines, hotels, train operators, car rental companies, and other suppliers have their own terms and conditions. These may apply to changes, cancellations, refunds, baggage, check-in, no-shows, name changes, delays, and cancellations.

The traveler should always check the latest information with the relevant supplier before departure.

Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds

The ability to change, cancel, or receive a refund depends on the supplier’s terms, ticket type, fare rules, and booking conditions.

Bookings may be fully or partially non-refundable.

Travel Insurance and Cancellation Protection

We recommend that the traveler has valid travel insurance. Please check what coverage is included through your employer, card issuer, home insurance, or separate travel insurance.

Where available, cancellation protection may be relevant, especially for private travel or trips with non-refundable components. Contact us if you would like assistance.

Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements

For certain trips, the Swedish Package Travel Act may apply. A package trip normally includes at least two different travel services for the same trip, such as flight and hotel, and lasts more than 24 hours or includes overnight accommodation.

Special rules may also apply to linked travel arrangements.

If your trip is covered by the Package Travel Act, you may have specific legal rights. More information is available from the Swedish Consumer Agency.

Travel Guarantee

The travel guarantee is financial protection that may apply to package travel and linked travel arrangements if the trip cannot be carried out due to the travel organizer’s insolvency.

Kammarkollegiet, the Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency, is responsible for the travel guarantee system in Sweden. More information is available from Kammarkollegiet.
